Who Is diamondboi ?

Get to know me, the owner! My name is Nuno Rocha, also known as @diamondboi.  I am 48 years old, married, with two amazing children. My daughter Ariana is 15, and my son Nikolas is 12.  I was born in Portugal, but I grew up in the Greater Toronto Area. Win or lose, I’m a die-hard Raptor’s fan! And what an amazing year it was, we got that chip boi!  I’ve been in the jewellery industry for over 30 years. During that time I have worked in wholesale, manufacturing and retail.  I struggled to find my place because I always wanted to do things my own way, which often landed me in trouble.  Sixteen years ago I said “fuck it all” and decided to go out on my own. 

At first I tried to maintain that stereotypical professional image, but it made me feel like a salesman and that is not at all who I am or what I am about.  I decided to ditch the suits and ties and just be myself.  I’m not a salesman, I’m just a regular dude who makes bad-ass jewellery, and my jewellery does the talking for me! I pour all of my effort and passion into my work because I think of my clients as family. It’s an extremely rewarding feeling to know that I’ve played a small part in some of the most memorable moments of their lives. 

What I am great at is designing beautiful jewellery.  I create pieces that my clients will admire forever.  This is what I do.
